Waxing in Brisbane
So, you’ve decided to take the leap and get your first wax, but you’re filled with angst about the whole procedure. Top Tips for First-time Waxers
It’s always a good idea to find out what type of wax is being used. Hot wax is great for more sensitive areas -e.g. Your bikini line or upper lip, whereas wax strips are great for larger areas such as your legs or back. Hot wax is relatively painless, so if you’re given a choice then go for the hot wax for small sensitive areas.
When it comes to hair length, some beauty salons will ask you to leave hair till it’s at least half a centimetre long. Some therapists will trim hair if need be, but some salons may charge extra for this, so make sure you’re clear on what is expected before your appointment.
Tips for Getting a Bikini Wax
This is a sensitive area when it comes to privacy and pain, before getting anything around your bikini or a Brazilian wax for example, ask the therapist to talk you through the process so you know what to expect.
